The Brighter's Holiday Magic
Halloween News -
For 13 years we have had a live haunted cemetery for many to enjoy. As the years have passed, our family has grown up and had children so it was becoming more and more difficult to get enough people to put on a good show for one night. Several times we have considered ending the live haunt but visitors expressing how much they enjoyed it made us want to keep doing it each year. However, there comes a time when you just realize that its a tremendous amount of work for four hours. So this year we made the very hard decision to retire the live haunted cemetery for good. We may try something a little different sometime in the future but for now, we just want to express our thanks for the many years of scares we did.
We will leave our Halloween page up for a while so you can take a trip down memory lane and see some of the things that scared so many.
For those wondering, YES, we will continue to do our Christmas Light Show.

Christmas 2014 Updates -
Due to illness we were late coming up for 2014 but thanks to you our visitors, our season was still a big success. We had a few visitors that got a little upset with us on busy nights when we asked them to enter from the East side. Please understand that we don't do this to be mean. We draw a lot of traffic so to make sure our wonderful neighbors (who generously deal with the traffic each year) can get to and from their homes and to make sure emergency vehicles have an open route through the neighborhood if needed, it requires us to ask visitors to enter from the East on busy nights. This keeps traffic flowing and prevents backups from those trying to enter from the West.
The addition of a smaller light show in Greenbrier went about as good as expected for the first year. We had some technical problems at times but overall, it provided an alternate smaller show for those that didn't want to come all the way into Conway. We will make some adjustments for 2015 that will correct the technical problems that we have control over.
Just for the record, we handed out 15,832 candy canes during the 2014 season. Considering we started handing them out a week later than normal, we stopped an hour into Christmas Eve night to keep traffic moving, and the season was shorter than previous years, it amounted to a lot of visitors. We look forward to seeing you during the 2015 season. We have some new things planned for 2015 so be sure you come back to see us.
